East Bay BALL Summer Camp

ABOUT CAMP

East Bay BALL Summer Camp is an ideal summer option for boys and girls ages 6-11 who love baseball and outdoor playtime! The camp is dedicated to improving the skill level and increasing the enjoyment of baseball for the youth of Oakland and surrounding East Bay communities.

This summer, camp sessions will take place at two convenient Oakland baseball facilities - Caldecott Fields (also known as the North Oakland Sports Complex) near the Tunnel Road exit of Hwy 24 (map) and at nearby Chabot Field, adjacent to Chabot Elementary School in Rockridge (map). Each one-week session runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm, with private on-site after-care available with one of our senior staffers until 5pm.

Campers will receive hands-on instruction in all aspects of the game from our knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Mornings are devoted to drills and instruction; organized games take place after lunch. Each camper should bring his/her own glove and a bag lunch - all other equipment will be provided.

In addition to fun-filled days of age-appropriate instruction and games, campers will receive a t-shirt and camp photo as part of their registration package.

WHAT'S NEW

July 26, 2008 - Greetings basball friends, young and old! Camp is officially closed for the summer and our staff is taking a much deserved break. We are grateful to the nearly 200 campers who joined us over these past five weeks - we had a blast out on the diamonds with you! Check our photo gallery soon for snapshots from the 2008 season, and we hope to see you around the local ball fields later in the coming months.

Looking ahead, planning for 2009 will begin later this fall, and the schedule for next summer's sessions will be available early in the new year. Wishing you a terrific rest of the summer - and keep playing BALL!

Warm regards,

Scott & Debbie Bonzell
and the BALL Summer Camp Staff
